PixelShrink Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 August 2026

The short version. PixelShrink does not collect your photos and does not upload them anywhere. All image processing happens on your device. We do not ask for permission to your photo library, and the app has no account system. The only third party that receives any data is Google AdMob, which serves the ads that keep the app free.

Who this policy is for

This policy applies to the Android application PixelShrink: Resize Photos (package com.pixelshrink.imageresizer), distributed on Google Play.

Your photos

Permissions the app requests

The app declares no storage, camera, location, microphone, or contacts permissions.

Advertising

PixelShrink is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process information such as your advertising ID, IP address, device and operating system details, and general interaction with ads. This happens under Google’s own privacy policy, not ours:

You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Settings → Google → Ads on your Android device.

What we collect ourselves

Nothing. PixelShrink has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics SDK, and no server of its own. We do not receive your name, email address, location, contacts, or images.

Children

PixelShrink is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention and deletion

Because we do not collect or store personal data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Files the app creates live only on your own device, and you can delete them like any other photo. To stop all ad-related data collection, uninstall the app.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date at the top.
